Charter Policies
Rates do not include the customary 20% tip for mates unless otherwise noted.

Deposits:
● Inshore Trips (Cost: $600 - $800): $200.00 Deposit Required
● Offshore Trips (Cost: $1,000 or more): $400.00 Deposit Required
Cancellation Policy:
● Weather-Related Cancellations: If a trip is canceled due to weather conditions, we will reschedule to a later date that is mutually agreeable. If a suitable date cannot be found, the trip will be rebooked for the following year, with deposits carried over. Please note that there are no refunds. Rain alone is not considered a valid reason for cancellation. The final decision to cancel a trip rests solely with the Captain.
● Customer Cancellations:
○ Cancellations with less than 1 week’s notice will result in the forfeiture of the deposit.
○ Cancellations with more than 1 week’s notice can be rescheduled to a later date that is mutually agreeable. If the trip cannot be rebooked within the same year, it will be scheduled for the following year with deposits carried over. There are no refunds.
Tipping Policy: A 20% tip is customary for mates who are hardworking, knowledgeable, and friendly.
Onboard Conduct:
● No drugs or hard liquor allowed (beer is permitted).
● Drunkenness will not be tolerated and will result in the immediate termination of your trip.
● No firearms or knives are allowed on board.
● The Jersey Devil is maintained for the comfort and safety of all passengers. Any damage caused to the vessel or its equipment due to careless behavior will result in charges for repairs and replacement.
