Had the crew out today for a fun trip out on the Jersey Devil. We headed out of Raritan Bay a bit latter due to the blow the last couple of days. Although we had a slow pick we had our biggest tog of the season with Jimmy "Peach" swinging a 10 pounder over the rail. We had 6 keepers for the whole trip but I expect the fishing to get better for the Raritan bite over the next few days. We will continue to sail out of Sandy Hook for the next few weeks as the weather seems to be holding and the fishing should hold together as well. We are looking forward to heading offshore for cod and other wreck fish.
We will be sailing on Saturday as well as New Years day.
Tight lines!
